Monday...be mine

Hello Monday, nice to see you! Can you believe how relieved I am that you are finally here?! Bet you don't hear that everyday.

Well, Monday, you deserve it. I'm here to say "Monday, you're special and you bring good things." ;)

Whew, had to get that off my chest. The weekend was...um...rough. Or ruff. Whichever way you look at it, Monday has proved a vast improvement.

And it all had nothing--or everything--to do with these littles.

Oh sure, they look innocent enough...

Wait, where was I going here?! No really, they are innocent enough. That just doesn't translate into "easy" or "passive" by any means. Their innocence comes firmly wrapped in insatiable curiosity, excrement, and enthusiasm.

Yes, I said excrement. I'm swimming in it people and if I couldn't blog about it...well, then I'd just be cleaning more of it up, so please, let me blog about it. =) Grant me this small pleasure and I promise I won't post illustrative images to drive home that point.

Back to the cuteness...

This is Una. Una has a nickname. It's not pretty, it's not sweet, but darn it all if it hasn't stuck.

Want to hear it? Can you guess it, by some wild chance?

I'll give you a minute. And a clue: look at her coloring.

{Dum da dum da dum....doowop doowopwopwop...sorry, I'm out of music in my head}

Ready? It's Tramp Stamp. Yup, we call her Tramp Stamp, because of that brindle patch spreading along her rump. She also has "shoulder tats" on each side, but it doesn't have the same ring as Tramp Stamp.

Anyway, here she is from another angle.

Lastly, Dot. Oh my Dot.

'Nuff said. Happy Monday. Next week, let's try not to upstage the weekend...just maybe, okay Monday?

I LOVE the nickname, and the look on her face seems to sort of be flaunting the marks. So cute!! If the world could see how precious this breed can be, given the proper care and love, it might just change their mind about them.

Oh Nichole! Laura turned that photo of Dot into postcards for the rescue, I'll have to send you guys one because it is CRAZY awesome! I'm biased of course, but it blew my mind to see one of my images displayed like that. =)
